Apple’s iOS 26 Beta 3 Brings UI Tweaks, Bug Fixes and New Wallpapers

Apple released iOS 26 Beta 3 this Monday, introducing several visual and usability improvements. The update mainly focuses on toning down the “Liquid Glass” design, which was a core aesthetic feature of iOS 26. Some users reported that parts of the iOS 26 interface were hard to read, which led Apple to dial back the visual effects.

In iOS 26 Beta 3, Apple has softened the overly glassy visual effects in key UI elements such as notifications, Control Center, and Apple Music, making them more readable and user-friendly. Notifications are now less translucent, and text backgrounds have been darkened to improve legibility and contrast.

The update also introduces new color variants, Halo, Dusk, Sky, and Shadow, in the default wallpaper section, giving users more personalization options.

In addition to these visual tweaks, Apple has also addressed minor bugs and implemented several performance refinements to enhance the overall user experience.

Some users believe the changes compromise iOS 26’s original aesthetic, but the update delivers noticeable improvements in usability and readability.
